The Miracle Worker

The Miracle Worker was performed in February 2020 at the Depot Theater. Directed by Christopher King, the play is set in Alabama in the 1880’s and tells the story of young Helen Keller who could hear and see until she was about 18 months old, when an illness left serious and lasting damage.

Although she could use some signs, it was up to the extraordinary woman, Anne Sullivan, to teach her to communicate with the world.
