After serving as Dodge City Public Library’s community relations specialist, I joined Prairie Independent Living Resource Center which means I’ve been working with people as both a service provider and in developing programs to help people for over 30 years. I have a passion for helping others achieve their dreams and the firm belief that a goal is just a dream with a deadline.
What an honor to be able to serve on the board of the Depot Theater. My passion for helping others and love of all things theater make this such a wonderful opportunity. I can’t wait to share my time, talents and skillsets to help the Depot Theater thrive and grow.
There are so many ways to contribute to the theater. I encourage you to reach out yourself and find ways to get involved. Being rather introverted, I benefited greatly in confidence and a sense of belonging from my years’ involvement in community theater starting out working backstage and eventually performing and directing. I still benefit.
Theater has been so rewarding for me on a personal level. I hope to provide encouragement and support to others interested in becoming engaged with your Depot Theater.
