Gayla Rodenbur
Gayla is originally from Oklahoma and currently lives in Ingalls with her husband Leonard Rodenbur. They have 3 children: Ryan, Raelynn and Rheann. Rheann recently joined the Depot family as Roxie in Chicago as costumer for Chicago.
Gayla holds an Associates in Accounting, a B.A. in Business Education, and a Masters in Counseling.
She is retired from Education (28 years) including her last 4 years at Dodge City Community College as the Director of Counseling. In 2021 she also retired from owning/operating Garden City Gymnastics.
Gayla works on several boards in Southwest Kansas – including Friends of Lee Richardson Zoo (chair), Missouri Valley AAU Gymnastics District Chair, president of the Depot Theater Guild, and currently serves as the secretary for the Depot Theater Board.
She began her career in education as a Speech/Drama instructor and has always loved the theater. Gayla was in several productions through high school, college, and a few summers at Boot Hill Museum. When she was asked to volunteer at the Depot Theater she jumped at the chance in 2021 and has worked the past 3 seasons in several areas: costuming, stage managing, acting, serving, and most of all just enjoying being around such talented and interesting people.
