Pete ‘n’ Keely
April 3, 2003 - May 3, 2003
It’s 1968 and two of America’s singin’ sweethearts unite for a live television special celebrating their hit parade career on TV and in Las Vegas showrooms. But there’s just one catch – they haven’t spoken to each other since their breakup five years earlier. This kitschy spoof follows Pete ‘n’ Keely as they stroll down memory lane reprising their greatest hits and all the while taking “unscripted” swipes at each other which only adds to the fun and hilarity. Songs included Richard Rodgers’ “Lover” and Steve Allen’s “This Could Be the Start of Something Big.”
