Depot Theater Update
This Depot Theater Update is to let you know we’re still working hard to keep things moving forward. The pandemic has put many things on pause and we miss having productions, we miss cooking for you and having a theater full of people. Rest assured that we WILL be putting on great shows once again as soon as we can. While we’re on performance-pause, an army of volunteers has been working hard to clean up, clean out, organize, paint, etc. in the Homestead and the Depot Theaters.
Did you know that The Depot Theater in Dodge City has held performances since 1984? Formerly the Boot Hill Museum Repertory Company, performances moved from the Boot Hill Old House Saloon into the renovated Santa Fe Depot in 2004. We now have pictures posted for almost all of our Past Performances since the 1980s. See them in the Archives section on this site. Many THANKS to Doug Austen for compiling the information, photographs and posters from the Depot archives, to Mark Veirthaler, Josh Roesener and other members for all the amazing photos you’ll see in these posts.
Have you seen our first FACEBOOK LIVE EVENT held on Thursday, 7/16/20? Check it out HERE – on our Facebook Page!
